Respiration Lab

Intro: The process of external gas takes place between air and the lungs. O2 goes into blood from air through the aveoli and CO2 goes into aveoli into air from blood, because of cellular respiration.

Part A : The result of the aerating of limewater remained the same there were no changes. However, the test tube we breathed jn became cloudy.

Part B : The beaker that was aerated turned blue/green and beaker with the other distilled water that was breathed into orange/yellow. Therefore, aerated was neutral and the breathed into one was strong acid.

Part C: Breaths taken in one minute were: 28,25 and 18. Breaths taken in 30seconds were: 10,14 and 18. The numbers in 30seconds are basically half the amount of one minute except are kind of higher, for example 18 breaths per 30 seconds. This means we should be taking in more breaths.
